Psalm 73

Have you ever looked around and wondered why is life so unfair? Why do I struggle, while others get ahead? Why even follow God? What do you do with the pain, the confusion, the anger? This week we look at a raw, honest prayer that many would not dare to pray. Join us this week as we look at the power of our perspective and the invitation of God to bring all of ourselves to Him.

This week we welcome our guest preacher, Dr. Charlie Self, as we look at a raw, honest prayer that many would not dare to pray. Join us as we look at the power of our perspective and the invitation of God to bring all of ourselves to Him.

Dr. Charlie Self’s life mission is encouraging, equipping, and empowering destiny in Christ. Charlie is presently the Professor of Church History at The Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO. Charlie is also a frequent guest as “Dr. History” on the KSFO 560AM Talk Radio Show, a strategic consultant, encourager to leaders, keynote speaker, and presenter to church and civic groups. More from Heart of Warriors and Poets

The book of Psalms shows us how to talk to God when things are going great, when things are dicey, and even when life is falling apart entirely. The poetic songs, gritty prayers, and heart cries are filled with raw honesty, fierce passion, intense struggle, explosive joy, unwanted heartache, and unencumbered worship. They touch the heart and provoke the soul. They guide us in how to respond to God authentically and know Him personally. Would you join us for our brand new series over the next 8 weeks as we take a deep soul dive into the Psalms and discover not simply how to express ourselves in prayer but also explore how to become ourselves in prayer.
