Have you stopped to wonder this Christmas season?

When it comes to the Christmas story we are so familiar with it we no longer see the wonder in it.  We even set up nativity scenes in our homes, or see them in people’s yards but miss the wonder, the power, the overwhelming majesty of this moment.

A.W. Tozer once wrote, “It does seem strange that so many persons become excited about Christmas and so few stop to inquire into its meaning; but I suppose this odd phenomenon is quite in harmony with our unfortunate human habit of magnifying trivialities and ignoring matters of greatest import.”

What if this moment is a matter of greatest importance?
