In Silicon Valley, we live under immense financial pressure, with the ever-elusive goal of financial freedom beyond the grasp of many. We tend to believe that if we made more, we would finally be financially free – retire young, own a nice house, and travel the world whenever we desire. But in reality, with the high cost of living, many are falling behind, only to find themselves accumulating more and more debt. How do we break free from the debt trap? What if the key to freedom lies in living on less instead of getting more?

Ryan will be providing a weekly memory verse each Sunday during his sermon that you won’t want to miss!
FreedUp Small Groups
We discovered through our last church survey that financial and budgeting pressures were an incredibly felt need in our community. We are launching a small group campaign at the end of the month going through a 7-week study called FreedUp. FreedUp is a scripture-based program that’s focused on your financial habits to thrive financially and grow spiritually; whether you are in debt or not. If you are already in a small group you will be going through this content starting January 21st. Women’s Spring 2024 Study
Over 10 sessions, discover how God orchestrates everything for His glory and the good of His people, and see how the God of creation and covenant is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Join the women of Awakening this Spring for a 10-week study using Jen Wilkin’s study “God of Covenant”. There will be 2 studies offered, one starting on Tuesday, 1/23, and the other starting on Saturday, 2/3. Spots fill up quickly so sign up today!

It’s that time of year… we are returning to Hume Lake for Winter Camp! This weekend is for 6-12th grade and we are so excited to bring all of our students with us! Join us March 1st-3rd and sign up today as spots are limited and registration costs go up after TOMORROW, January 10th!

Food Pantry | Every 1st & 3rd Thursday
As a church we have a partnership with CityTeam and Del Mar High School to bring a mobile food pantry to our community in San Jose! This happens every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month from 3pm-5pm. We encourage you to sign up today as we are always in need of more volunteers!
