The Words of the Song
The early church was marginalized, mistreated, misunderstood. But they were compelled by good news that had changed everything: Jesus died and rose again. We have to ask: Why did so many give their lives for this? What’s so good about the Good News?

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. Romans 1:16
Gospel [gr. euaggelion] – lit. good news, news that makes one happy, information that causes one joy, words that bring smiles, a message that causes the heart to be sweet.
THE GOSPEL IN STEREO: John 13:34-35
LOVE others the way Jesus LOVED you.
What’s so powerful about the Gospel?
THE WORDS TO THE SONG:
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
The Romans Road:
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…” Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
