How do you build wealth that leaves a lasting legacy?

 

Perspective: There is MORE to life than having MORE in life.

 

“Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” Jesus [Luke 12:15]

 

Practice: There is no SECRET FORMULA, simply SPEND less than you MAKE.

 

Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow. Proverbs 13:11

 

Stop BUYING things you cannot AFFORD.

 

One person pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth. Proverbs 13:7

 

Whoever loves pleasure will become poor; whoever loves wine and olive oil will never be rich. Proverbs 21:17

 

Get out of DESTRUCTIVE DEBT.

 

The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender. Proverbs 22:7

  • Make getting out of debt your top PRIORITY
  • Cut NON-ESSENTIAL spending 
  • Save $1,000 as quickly as you can.
  • Use the Debt SNOWBALL technique.

 

Invest for the FUTURE.

 

A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous. Proverbs 13:22

 

The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down. Proverbs 21:20

 

  • Build a 3-month EMERGENCY FUND.

  • Save up for Big PURCHASES & TRIPS.

  • Leverage the magic of COMPOUNDING interest.

  • Automate to stay DISCIPLINED.

 

Don’t DELAY what you can do TODAY.
