WHAT’S TRUE OF YOU THAT YOU NEVER KNEW:

FOR not FROM as a result FROM not FOR

  • God wants something FOR you more than He wants something FROM
  • As a result you live FROM a place of blessing not FOR a blessing.

You have been CHOSEN by God

For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.  Ephesians 1:4

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit…  Ephesians 1:11-13

“In Christ, then, we have been admitted to the ranks of the chosen people, the holy heritage of God.”  Theologian, F.F. Bruce

God CHOSE you and you have the choice to CHOOSE Him too.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.  Revelation 3:20

PRAYER:

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.  I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.  Ephesians 1:17-19
