Food Pantry
Awakening Church partners with Del Mar High School and City Team to mobilize our food pantry outreach to assist families struggling to make ends meet. Through this partnership, we are able to build relationships and provide pathways towards lasting change in our community. Volunteers can serve at the food pantry on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month!
Be A Friend Outreach
Join us on Saturday afternoons at transitional housing facilities in San José to build connections and encourage people who are coming out of homelessness. We pass out food and hygiene supplies, provide a listening ear, offer prayer, and share the hope we have in Jesus. Please contact Joeli if you are interested.
Foster the City

Love Never Fails
Love Never Fails is an Anti Human Trafficking Organization founded in the Bay Area. Awakening Church is partnering with Love Never Fails with the mission of shining the love of Jesus into the dark areas of our community.
City Team Project
CityTeam is a faith-based organization that loves both the local unhoused community and the ultra-low-income community. They have multiple programs that have been tested, they are trusted in the unhoused community, and they have the facility and resources to be very effective. CityTeam has many opportunities to use your gifts to serve the community!
Cru + Called up
Awakening partners with two college organizations that run on campus ministries!
CRU is an on-campus ministry with the goal to reach every student on campus with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Called Up‘s mission is to guide college athletic programs and leaders of all types into living out their God intended design.

Global impact
Mexico
Our Youth Ministry partners with Rancho de Sus Ninos: a campus of the Mission in Tijuana, Mexico. Rancho de Sus Ninos directly impacts over 400 children each day through orphan-care, family care, education programs, local church, and more. Our high school students spend 5 days every summer serving in many of the above areas, including contributing to labor projects to maintain and expand their campus.
Haiti
Globally, we focus our energy and efforts on Haiti. We partner with a missions organization called United Christians International led by our friends and missionaries on the ground Jean Jean & Kristie Mompremier.
Our goal is to partner with UCI through prayer, finances and short-term trips, in order to bring measurable kingdom change in Haiti through education, skills training, evangelism, and church planting efforts.
