The early church was incredibly diverse ethnically, socially, economically and politically. As theologian Scot McKnight describes, it was a fellowship of differents and unlikes. Uniting this fellowship of differents was their unwavering belief in Jesus. The unity of belief in diversity made the early church irresistible and unstoppable.
