Easter Photos, School of Faith, Child Dedications, and more!

We exist to awaken this generation to new life in Jesus Christ.

School of Faith Forum | Friday, May 5th

In partnership with Western Seminary and the Regeneration Project, you’re invited to attend this exciting upcoming event. “Is Reading the Bible the Fastest Way to Lose Faith?” will be a debate and discussion forum moderated by Dan Kimball between Mary Jo Sharp and Michael Wiseman, one who is a former atheist turned Christian and the other a former Christian turned atheist. Both will be tackling the main claims that are frequently made about the Bible and providing thoughtful responses to those claims. Join us to dive deeper into our faith by looking at God’s Word and wrestling with it as we look at the tough questions we are faced with today.

Child Dedication Class | Sunday, May 7th

Parents of littles, we would love to invite you to participate in our upcoming child dedication taking place on Mother’s Day, May 14th! Child dedication is a public commitment that parents make that they will raise their child in a way that honors God and points their child to Him. Each dedication date has a class to attend to learn more about dedication and finalize the details of the service. This class will be on May 7th at 9:30am!

Local Impact Story

Our heart’s desire is to show the love of Jesus tangibly to the people and environment around our church, and that includes Del Mar High School! This past week through your tithes and offerings we were able to purchase $1,500 worth of goodies to help give a makeover to the newly remodeled Teacher’s Lounge. It’s now stocked with new microwaves, coffee makers, lots of inventory, plus we hosted a brunch for them on Monday to celebrate! Thanks for partnering with us to impact the school.

The ancient spiritual discipline of Lectio Divina is a sacred reading practice, intended to guide us to a place of meeting with God as we read the Scriptures. During the next four weeks, we invite you to take time each day reflecting on the same passage in Luke 15 for that week (our Bible passage for the sermon series, Prodigal) as a loose companion to our Sunday services.

Food Pantry | Every 1st & 3rd Thursday

As a church, we have a partnership with CityTeam and Del Mar High School to bring a mobile food pantry to our community in San Jose! This happens every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month from 3pm-5pm. We encourage you to sign up today as we are always in need of more volunteers!
