Leadership

Ryan, and his amazing wife Jenny, planted Awakening Church in September 2012 with a passion to awaken this generation to new life in Jesus.  Ryan leads our community in mission and through teaching and strategic leadership.  He graduated from Moody Bible Institute (in Chicago) and attended Moody Theological Seminary.  He has now served as a pastor for a little over two decades.  He has 3 incredible kids – Ella, Ryder, and Miles. When they’re not keeping him busy, Ryan loves to surf and play beach volleyball.  He thinks he can play basketball too, but the jury is still out, depending on who you ask.
