Reyna was born and raised in Fremont, California, and began attending Awakening in 2021 as a college student. While she grew up in the church, she found her faith as a freshman in college through the Awakening community and on-campus ministries. College was a pivotal time in Reyna’s faith, giving her a heart for college students and supporting them through this season of life in a way that cultivates curiosity and growth in their walk with Jesus. As a part of the 2023 protege class, she served with college ministries and soon after joined staff as a CollegeYA Administrator. She loves to hold spaces where people feel welcomed, loved, and safe while lending a listening ear.
Reyna graduated from Santa Clara University with a BS in computer science. She works as a math and computer science teacher when she is not hanging with college students or coordinating CollegeYA events. You can find her drawing/painting, listening to some good R&B, or lifting at the gym in her free time!
