Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Evita moved to California with her husband Jon in 2004. Their wildest adventure by far remains to be raising their 2 kids, Rachel (9) and Nathaniel (6). Evita has a great love for family time, deep conversations, authentic friendships, nature wonders, and creative work. She spends her days seeking beauty in all things and striving to live well and love well.
Evita has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts and Advertising Management. She worked for 8 years in the fashion industry then paused for 10 years to focus on mommyhood. Awakening Church has been home to the Cas family for 7 years before Evita joined staff in 2021. She finds joy in creating beautiful spaces for people to encounter Jesus. On being on staff at Awakening she says, “I can’t believe what I get to do with the people I get to do it with.”
