Brian serves at Awakening as the Director of Volunteerism. Prior to this role, Brian was a Police officer for 16 years with the City of Santa Cruz. Due to injuries sustained while on the job, Brian had to medically retire. Brian has always served at Awakening and felt called into the newly created role of Director of Volunteerism. Utilizing his past experience serving on our Space, Production, and Connection teams this has been a great fit. Brian is blessed with his wife of 22 years, Marny, and their two daughters Madison and Reagan. Brian treats the opening day of the Giants Baseball season as a national Holiday, so he usually has that day blocked off on his calendar.
