Nepal Disaster Relief

On April 26, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake devastated the country of Nepal. More than 4,000 deaths have been reported, and more than 8 million people have been affected.

As a community, we are responding to this tragedy in two ways: prayer and relief. We are praying faithfully for the people of Nepal—for recovery, healing, safety, protection, comfort, and hope.

We are also raising $10,000 for disaster relief—providing urgent emergency aid to reduce immediate suffering. All money donated will go to the World Vision disaster relief in Nepal.

World Vision has a reliable network of people in the country with mobilized emergency response staff and supplies in the worst-hit areas. Funds go to search and rescue efforts, to providing food and water, and to finding shelter for those who are displaced, especially finding protection for children. Please pray faithfully and give generously with us as we come alongside our brothers and sisters in Nepal.
