As the beginning of the school year gets closer we love that we have the opportunity to partner with the Del Mar staff to set students up for success by rallying together as a church to collect school supplies and essentials for the students at Del Mar High School! At Awakening, we have committed ourselves to the belief that God gave us not just a place to meet at Del Mar, but rather a people to love. You can be part of loving on the students in greatest need here. We’ll be collecting backpacks on Sundays starting July 27th – August 10th. We all carry names. Some were spoken over us by others. Some we picked up along the way. And some we’ve spent years trying to run from.
They profoundly shape how we see ourselves… how we show up in relationships… how we feel…and who we’re becoming. And far too many of us are living out names that were never true of who God made us to be, or who God says we are.
