As we begin 2024 we want to seek God’s wisdom for navigating life’s complexities and how to step into a life of freedom and fulfillment. Join us every day in January with our Proverbs reading plan as we seek His wisdom in our UNSTUCK teaching series. Ryan will be providing a weekly memory verse each Sunday during his sermon that you won’t want to miss!
Get to know us!
Awakening 101 is a space designed for you to come and hear the history and heart of Awakening. This class is an in-depth look at our story as a church where you will hear from our Lead Pastor, Ryan Ingram, and other staff members and leadership members. We will walk you through our philosophy of ministry and provide you with opportunities to lean into as a next step.
Join us on January 7th from 1pm-2:30pm in the Teachers Lounge (to the right of the Library)! Lunch will be provided.
*Childcare will also be offered from babies – 5th grade! Registration is required for childcare by 1/3.
2023 Impact & Year-End Giving Report
For 2023, our focus was simple yet powerful: Jesus. To imagine what God could do if we were to simply fix our eyes on Jesus and begin doing what he would do in Silicon Valley.
This focus has increased our passion to reach the unchurched, bring life to the vulnerable, and deepen our thirst for God’s formation. Women’s Spring 2024 Study
Over 10 sessions, discover how God orchestrates everything for His glory and the good of His people, and see how the God of creation and covenant is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Join the women of Awakening this Spring for a 10-week study using Jen Wilkin’s study “God of Covenant.” There will be 2 studies offered, one starting on Tuesday, 1/23, and the other starting on Saturday, 2/3. Spots fill up quickly so sign up today!
Men’s Spring 2024 Study
In this 10-week session, we will journey through Patrick Morley’s, The Man in the Mirror. This classic book provides a biblical perspective on the 24 common problems men face within their identity, relationships, finances, time, temperament, and integrity. Be sure to sign up today as this study begins on January 23rd!
Food Pantry | Every 1st & 3rd Thursday
As a church we have a partnership with CityTeam and Del Mar High School to bring a mobile food pantry to our community in San Jose! This happens every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month from 3pm-5pm. We encourage you to sign up today as we are always in need of more volunteers!
