Take a look at the Bible, and give the narrative of scripture an extra thought. This one body of inspired writing contains sixty-six books that span thousands of years, detailing the lives of hundreds of people in multiple parts of the world. Page after page and story after story we see that since the beginning of time, the Lord has always made it His priority to meet with people. It is a beautiful thing to be able to have the catalog of God’s faithfulness at our fingertips, and an even more beautiful thing to be assured that the God of the Bible still wants to meet with people today.
As we seek to meet with God in our everyday lives, the stories in the Bible are able to inform and encourage us. We hope you join us this week as we look at Jesus healing paralyzed man and discuss what it means for God to meet us exactly where we are and give us more than we need!
