Week 5 | MERCY IS AVAILABLE
What do you do when life hasn’t turned out the way you hoped? When you carry regret over the past, exhaustion in the present, and uncertainty about the future? In Psalm 90, Moses brings all of it to God. He asks for mercy. For a love that satisfies. For joy after years of sorrow. His prayer invites us to believe that our failures have not put us beyond God’s reach and our pain does not have the final word. Through Jesus, mercy is available today, and there is hope for what’s ahead.
Next Sunday, November 8th, marks a milestone for Awakening Church as we celebrate Commitment Sunday for our Rooted campaign!
As we seek to secure a permanent ministry home to reach, train, and send this generation, we are asking our entire church family to stand together. Our prayer is not for equal giving, but for equal surrender.
Therefore, take time these next two weeks to pray through your two-year commitment, leveraging the Prayer and Decision Guide on Page 72 of your Rooted Guide Book.
Excited for Commitment Sunday, knowing God will do something that outlasts all of us!
