Jenny Ingram grew up in Santa Cruz, CA and her childhood was filled with beach days, dance parties, all things vintage and coffeeshops. She attended college at Cal Poly SLO and received her degree in Business Administration. To this day whenever she sees fellow Cal Poly grads she likes to do the stance of the mustang, but no one ever seems to know what she is doing. Apparently, it was a thing when she went there.
The summer before her senior year of college she came home for a few months and she met this cute boy named Ryan Ingram. She called him her “secret crush” for a while until eventually they became a thing. They dated long distance while Ryan was going to school in Chicago and then she moved to Sweden for a year so then they dated internationally. Needless to say, when she came back Ryan proposed, and they were married 3 months later.
Jenny and Ryan lived in Chicago, then Atlanta and then they finally made their way back to the west coast. Ryan & Jenny have been a part of church plants to mega churches, but the sweetest years have been with Awakening Church. A massive reason for this has is the people they have met along the way, and the joy of getting to share Jesus with people in the Bay Area. Jenny currently serves our college/ya group as a volunteer, and she sells real estate during the day. She has 3 kids, Ella, Ryder & Miles, that she could not adore more, and she’s excited to see what God has for Awakening Church and the Bay in this coming year. One of her greatest honors is walking with Jesus and hearing from Him in the every day.
