Alex and his wife, Brie, both Minnesota natives (you betcha!), went to school on the East Coast, married in July of 2022, and moved to the West Coast the week after Alex joined the Santa Clara track team as a graduate student. They are currently involved in college-sports ministry through Called-Up, which is a local ministry serving Santa Clara and San Jose State student-athletes. Alex is passionate about meeting people where they are, and learning about their unique story and God’s active involvement along the way.

Alex loves to travel and hike with his wife, and son Cal. When he’s not pretending to be a basketball player or bragging about Duke’s NBA lottery picks he is probably running or taste testing the treats his wife Brie bakes.

Alex graduated from Duke with his BS in Economics, and a MS from Santa Clara.
