& year end giving report
For 2023, our focus was simple yet powerful: Jesus. To imagine what God could do if we were to simply fix our eyes on Jesus and begin doing what he would do in Silicon Valley.
This focus has increased our passion to reach the unchurched, bring life to the vulnerable, and deepen our thirst for God’s formation. And from the generous unleashing of your time, talent, and treasure towards our unique mission of awakening this generation to new life in Christ, here is some of the transformative work God has done in 2023:
IMPACT
We Served 93,765 Meals
Through our City Team partnership, we served 93,765 meals to our community struggling with food insecurity, fueled by over 335 volunteer hours.
We Funded 12 Car Repairs
Together we were able to fund 12 car repairs and 1 replacement vehicle for single moms in the Bay through Maintenance for Moms.
$134,000 Given Globally
Together we distributed $134,000 for global crisis relief and long-term renewal in Haiti, Syria, and Turkey alongside our partners UCI and World Vision.
80 School Families Blessed
Together we served over 80 Del Mar High School families with financial crisis care and college application fees while blessing the Del Mar faculty with weekly donuts, triannual gratitude lunches, and the assisted renovation of their new staff lounge.
90 Kids at Camp Wonder
90 children experienced fun and faith formation at our summer camp, Camp Wonder, while also donating over 500 food items to City Team.
25 Baptisms
We got to be apart of 25 people taking the step of obedience to be baptized.
Ministries Relaunched
We relaunched our college/young adult and young professional ministries.
A new Protege cohort began in the fall of 2023, and have continued to lead our church towards the future.
Youth Camps and Mission Trip
We got to witness the catalytic faith formation of our middle and high school students at summer/winter camps, and our Mexico ministry trip.
