Naseem is a true Bay Area girl. After moving back to San Jose from San Francisco in 2016, she and her parents found Awakening Church while they were searching for a new home church. Six months later she joined our staff and the rest is history.
Naseem oversees Connections, Groups ministry, as well as the Protege program (which is our leadership development experience). She loves teaching and preaching God’s Word and spurring Christians on towards pursuing continued, deep discipleship to Jesus.
Naseem is currently a seminary student at Wheaton College through its Propel Womens Cohort, which has been an amazing learning environment. She loves writing, a stacked charcuterie board, and hosting her pop culture podcast, Nas-Talgia.
